Slamdance is a lesser known film festival which takes place at the same time as the Sundance Film Festival. The difference between the two is that the competition in Slamdance is limited to first-time filmmakers who work with limited budgets and do not have U.S. distribution. "Unknowns" so to speak.
Showing venues are both in Salt Lake City and Park City with topics including documentaries, film shorts, feature-length films and fictional narratives.
